Our History

Masolini's farm born in 1969 in one cottage placed in the splendid Gordona's plain. At first, the fresh cow's milk is sell retail or turned in tasty typical cheeses. In 1974 the farm becomes larger introducing calves-breeding (200 at year). Afterwards in 1980, about twenty soes are added to cattle-breeding reaching an annual production of 700 swine.

Masolini's farm continue its production until 1996, when Giorgio Masolini decided to renovate his farm trasforming the old building in a fantasctic farm called "La Campagnola" keeping up all traditions of his father in production of cheeses and cattle-breeding. "La Campagnola" has been first farm stands in beautiful Chiavenna's valley.
